WV Primary Set

  • {Charleston, West Virginia}... West Virginia voters will be heading to the polls this Tuesday, but due to recent redistricting, the polling locations for some people have changed. If you are unsure of where to vote, you can find out by going to the Secretary of State's website at www.wvsos.com. Just type in your name and birthdate. You can also call your county clerk. More than 60% of the races on the federal and state levels are uncontested. It's been 18 months since former West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin became a U.S. Senator. In his bid for a full six-year term on Capitol Hill, Manchin faces former Monongalia County legislator Sheirl Fletcher in Tuesday's primary. Fletcher garnered just 6 percent of the vote in the 2010 special primary two months after the death of U.S. Senator Robert C. Byrd.
