{Davis Creek, West Virginia}...Chris Potter, 52, an official with Appalachian Power Co. died Saturday after an all-terrain vehicle crash on his property in Davis Creek near Charleston. Potter's ATV went about 15 feet over a hillside along Timberline Trail and crashed. Potter, a Texas native, served as vice president for Appalachian's regulatory and finance division since 2010. He was responsible for oversight of the company's regulatory activities in West Virginia, Virginia and Tennessee. He also directed the company's business operations support group.
