{Kanawha City, West Virginia}...Thirty-one year old Joseph Pike Dempsey was in court Thursday for a preliminary hearing after being charged with robbing the Fifth Third Bank on MacCorkle Avenue in Kanawha City. Police say Dempsey walked into the Fifth Third Bank, ordered the tellers to the floor, grabbed a handful of money and took off. The case has been forwarded to the grand jury.
