Woman Indicted On Interstate Sex Charge

{Clarksburg, West Virginia}...U.S. Attorney William Ihlenfeld said Wednesday that 25 year old Carissa Hads of Quincy, Massachusetts has been indicted after being charged with one count of traveling in interstate commerce to engage in illegal sexual conduct. Investigators say, in 2010, Hads pretended to be a 17 year old boy and began an online relationship with a West Virginia girl. The indictment says Hads visited the teen at least three times and had a sexual encounter with her in Lewis County in February. Investigators say her disguise included a back brace to cover her chest. Hads was arrested May 25th at the Pittsburgh International Airport. If convicted, she faces up to 30 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
