WV Man Dies At Virginia Beach

{Virginia Beach, Virginia}...A man who died Saturday afternoon while swimming at Virginia Beach has been identified as 43 year old Dwight David Carpenter of Buckhannon, West Virginia. Virginia Beach police said Monday that a lifeguard and bystanders pulled Carpenter out of the water after he appeared to be in distress. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
