Teen Sentenced For Father's Murder

{Princeton, West Virginia}...Tevin Allen, 19, from Princeton was sentenced Monday in Mercer County Circuit Court to  up to 20 years after pleading guilty to a second degree murder charge in May. Allen fatally shot his father, 35 year old James Scott, also from Princeton, on High Street during a fight last August. With credit for time served, he could be eligible for parole in less than ten years. A one to 15 year sentence for a separate drug charge involving cocaine will be suspended once Allen, a former football standout at Princeton Senior High, finishes his time for murder.
