Bond Reduction Denied
{Leroy, West Virginia}...Peter Lizon was in court Friday seeking a bond reduction after being accused of keeping his wife, Stephanie, chained up for 10 years while burning her with a frying pan and crushing her feet with a piece of farm equipment, among other things, at their farm in the Leroy area of Jackson County. Deputies arrested Lizon on July 5th. Stephanie Lizon continues to maintain the allegations against her husband are untrue. Counselors at a shelter for battered women say Lizon's wife had described the abuse to them, but she told the judge it was all a misunderstanding. The request was denied, and Lizon remains jailed on a $300,000 bond.
