{Charleston, West Virginia}...Twenty year old Joseph Aaron McKinney of Amma has been sentenced to the Anthony Center for Youthful Offenders. Prosecutors say, in May, McKinney walked into the Red Roof Inn on MacCorkle Avenue in Charleston, told the clerk he was armed and threatened her with pepper spray, while robbing the motel. He was arrested shortly afterwards when police found him hiding in a storage building. He has been held at South Central Regional Jail since then. He could have been sentenced for five to 18 years on the second-degree robbery charge.
