Shooting Investigation Continues

{Charleston, West Virginia}...Charleston Police are continuing to investigate a double shooting which occurred Monday afternoon on Mary Street that killed 40 year old Roy Chambliss and sent 20 year old Natalie Sprouse to CAMC General Hospital. According to a criminal complaint, Daniel Little, 29, and Jarod Washington, 29, went to Chambliss's home Sunday trying to sell two guns, but they were turned away with the excuse of no money at the time. They returned to Chambliss's home Monday to try and sell the guns again but Chambliss again said he wasn't interested. Washington went into the bathroom and emerged moments later with a gun pointed at Sprouse. Sprouse says Washington told her to give him all of the money and to get on the floor. Sprouse says Little was armed with the other gun and ordered everyone in the bedroom and she was told to open the safe when a fight broke out. Sprouse says she watched Daniel Little shoot Chambliss and as that happened, Washington shot her and shot at Chambliss. Little was arrested Monday night at the Red Roof Inn in Teays Valley and charged with first degree murder and robbery.
