Copper Theft In Wyoming County

{Mullens, West Virginia}...Forty-three year old Bobby Ray McKinney, 46 year old Nancy Tate and 35 year old Tanya Jenkins, all of Mullens, and 56 year old James Daniels of Rock View have been charged with grand larceny, felony destruction of property, and theft resulting in loss of phone service. Wyoming County Sheriff Randall Aliff says the four stole copper cable that cut phone service to about 1,300 customers and tried to sell the stolen copper to a recycling center in Raleigh County. It will cost Frontier Communications up to $13,000 to repair the damage.
