Teen Charged With Negligent Homicide

A 15 year old boy from Charleston who was driving a car that crashed Sunday morning, killing George Washington High School student 14 year old Drew Morton, has been charged with negligent homicide. Charleston Police Lt. Shawn Williams says the driver and Morton left a home in South Hills at around 11:00 A.M. planning to visit Tudor's Biscuit World in Kanawha City. They were traveling Quarry Ridge Road when the teen lost control and was unable to correct. The vehicle hit a utility pole, a tree, and then overturned.
