- {Huntington, West Virginia}...At 4:45 P.M. Wednesday, a five-man, seven-woman jury requested a recess for the night in the trial of Jesse Blevins. Cabell Circuit Judge Alfred Ferguson told the jurors to return at 9:00 A.M. Thursday to resume deliberations. Blevins, of Huntington, is being tried on charges that he fatally stabbed and hid the body of his girlfriend, 23 year old Elizabeth Cotton, who died July 28, 2009.
