Man Competent To Stand Trial

{Wayne, West Virginia}...Wayne County Circuit Judge Darrell Pratt has set a June 4th trial for 52 year old Clinton Douglas Skeens, after ruling he is competent to stand trial. In August, Pratt ordered Skeens to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. Skeens is charged with murder in the December 31, 2010 stabbing death of former Wayne High football coach 73 year old Jess "Scott" Jarrell. Authorities say Jarrell was stabbed 43 times at his Wayne home. A motions hearing is set for April 23rd, and a pretrial is set for May 21st.
