- {Charleston, West Virginia}...Garland Murray was in court Monday charged with murder, kidnapping and burglary, but the judge in the case delayed his trial until April 2nd after Murray's lawyers said they needed more time to interview witnesses, and their trial preparation efforts had been stalled because Murray was behind bars at a prison. Deshawne Taylor and Garland Murray are accused of fatally shooting Gregory Poole in North Charleston in April 2010. Contractors found Poole's body in front of a home along 2nd Avenue. Taylor has plead guilty to conspiracy to kidnapping in exchange for dropping the murder charge.
Taylor says the plan was to rob Poole of drugs and money.
