Wayne Man Competent To Stand Trial

{Wayne, West Virginia}...Fifty-two year old Clinton Douglas Skeens, the man charged with the December 31, 2010 stabbing death of former Wayne High football coach 73 year old Jess "Scott" Jarrell has by been found competent to stand trial. Authorities say Jarrell was stabbed 43 times at his home in Wayne. In August, Wayne County Circuit Judge Darrell Pratt ordered Skeens to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. A pretrial hearing is set for January 19th, and Skeens could go to trial as early as January 30th.
