Dunbar Man Indicted On Firearm Charges
- {West Virginia}...A federal grand jury has indicted 38 year old Lamont Van Harris of Dunbar on firearm charges after he was arrested last month in a separate incident in which police say he shot Travis Bush, also of Dunbar, multiple times with a 9mm handgun. According to a federal criminal complaint, Van Harris was convicted three times on drug charges since 1993, and had been on parole at the time of last month's shooting. The federal drug convictions prohibit him from owning a gun. Harris faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted on the new charges.
