{ West Virginia}...Forty-five year old John Gregory Alvarez of Rossville, Georgia was sentenced in federal court in Atlanta Friday on federal narcotics and money laundering charges. Alvarez got 21 years, 10 months in prison, to be followed by six years of supervised release after pleading guilty August 5th. Investigators say Alvarez was the leader of a 13-member ring which got Oxycodone from doctors in Florida and then distributed them in Georgia, Tennessee, West Virginia and Kentucky.
