Charleston Man Pleads Guilty To Cocaine Charge

{Charleston, West Virginia}...Robert DeWayne Miller, 25, of Charleston, pleaded guilty Thursday to distribution of crack cocaine. In March, officers with the Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Network Team arranged a drug buy in which Miller met a confidential informant and sold 29.2 grams of cocaine. Miller fled after investigators revealed themselves during the deal. Authorities said he threw several bags containing suspected crack cocaine and cocaine on the rooftop of a Charleston business. Officers caught up with Miller and retrieved the bags along with the $1100. Miller faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine when sentenced on September 13th.
