Man Accused Of Violating Home Confinement

{Huntington, West Virginia}...Sheriff Deputies say 29 year old Rocky Burgess of West Hamlin robbed the Go-Mart along U.S. 60 in Huntington in January. He was placed on home confinement while awaiting trial. Burgess was arrested Tuesday after authorities say he cut off his electronic monitoring device on May 22nd. The device was found on 8th Avenue near the Cabell County Alternative Sentencing Office. He now faces an additional escape charge. Police say Burgess and Tisha Billups went into the Go-Mart to buy a pack of cigarettes, and, when the cashier opened up the register, Burgess pushed the clerk and took more than $500 from the register.
