Accident Leaves Charleston Woman In Critical Condition
- {West Virginia}...Police say Brittany Hickman, 22, of Charleston, was driving on Rutledge Road toward Charleston Thursday afternoon when her car ran off of the road and struck a tree, hitting the passenger side of the car where Jessica Bandy, 19, of Charleston, was sitting. Bandy, who suffered serious injuries, was taken to CAMC General in critical condition. Hickman and 1 year old Rodney Hall, who was in a child restraint seat, received only minor injuries in the crash. Investigators believe both speed and alcohol played a part in the accident.
