- {West Virginia}...Troopers attempted to pull over a car driven by 28 year old Eric Province on Cabin Creek Road in Rhonda early Sunday morning after he passed their cruiser in a no passing zone with his high beams on, but Province wouldn't stop. When he reached a wooded area where he couldn't drive, both he and his passenger, 26 year old Joshua Sheets, got out and tried to run. Troopers arrested Province and Sheets, but they had to be pepper sprayed after they allegedly tried to kick and punch the officers. Troopers say Province told them he had been drinking earlier and ran because his license had been suspended. Province and Sheets are charged with fleeing in a vehicle, fleeing DUI, fleeing on foot, two counts of obstructing, resisting arrest and battery on an officer. Province is also charged with driving on a suspended license for unpaid citations and driving on a suspended license for DUI.
