Riverside Assistant Football Coach Arrested

  • {West Virginia}...Christopher Brad Leffew, 39, an assistant football coach at Riverside High School and custodian for Kanawha County Schools, was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver. Chesapeake Police Chief Jack Ice says Chesapeake officers and two Kanawha County sheriff's deputies went to Leffew's apartment  in Chesapeake after Leffew called officers at about 1:45 A.M. in regard to an alleged burglary in progress. Officers say, when they entered the apartment, they saw marijuana on the kitchen counter with scales and plastic bags. After obtaining a search warrant, officers found about two ounces of marijuana, along with two scales and other paraphernalia related to the sale of marijuana.
