Election Set In Nitro

{Nitro, West Virginia}...Tuesday, voters in the city of Nitro will cast their ballots for mayor, city recorder and three of four council-at-large seats. The incumbent Rusty Casto, who's held the office of mayor for 16 years, will challenge one-term city council member Dave Casebolt. Mayor Casto says, if elected, he hopes to continue the streetscape program up 21st Street and get rid of the telephone poles there, make improvements at the city pool and improvements at Ridenour Lake. Casebolt says those are things he too wants to take on if elected, but he also has some ideas of his own. Casebolt says he wants to professionally promote and market the city of Nitro and further enforce property maintenance ordinances.
