{Point Pleasant, West Virginia}...Teresa Warner, a former Mason County Board of Education vice president, was sentenced Friday to 1 to 10 years in prison on a charge of trying to bribe a county official. Prosecutors say she sold passing grades to people who took GED tests in exchange for favors between 2002 and 2010. Warner pleaded guilty in April. Investigators say she made more than $1,000 in the scheme. Warner stepped down from her school board position after being arrested for DUI in January.
