Man Pleads Guilty To Unauthorized Computer Data

{Charleston, West Virginia}...Sixty-eight-year-old Ulysses Grant Young of St. Albans has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of possession of unauthorized computer data after originally being charged with multiple counts of child pornography. Kanawha Circuit Judge Carrie Webster accepted a plea agreement after Assistant Prosecutor Ken Starcher said the hard drive containing digital images crashed in the state police lab. A defense expert hired to review the images found none. Young is a former state Board of Medicine and Medicaid fraud investigator. The maximum penalty is a year in jail and a $1,000 fine. No sentencing date was set.
