{Huntington, West Virginia}...West Virginia State Police say 35 year old Tony Adkins was at his girlfriend's house on Burlington Road in Huntington around 8:00 P.M. Sunday night when his estranged wife, 33 year old Tara Adkins, showed up, and Tony told her to leave. Police say that's when Tara refused to leave and slapped Tony and the two engaged in a fight before Tara pulled out a knife and stabbed Tony several times. Tony was able to get the knife away from Tara, and she received minor injuries during a struggle. Both were treated at local hospitals for non-life threatening injuries. Tara Adkins has been charged with malicious wounding.
