Coal To Liquid Plant On Schedule

{Williamson, West Virginia}…Randy Harris, with the Mingo County Redevelopment Authority, says a $4-billion coal to liquid plant near Gilbert in Mingo County is on schedule. In 2008, TransGas Development Systems announced the project and is negotiating with the main contractor. The design is complete, and permitting is well ahead of the original schedule, and Harris says, when financing is in place, construction can get underway. The TransGas plant should be up and running in late 2016 or early 2017.
