Charleston Grand Jury Indicts Sex Offender

{West Virginia}...A federal grand jury in Charleston has indicted 29 year old James G. Propes Jr., also known as Tommy E. Clemons, a convicted sex offender, for failing to register while living in Huntington. According to the indictment, Propes was convicted in a court in Genesee County, Michigan of criminal sexual conduct assault with intent to commit sexual penetration and registered as a sex offender in Michigan in 2007 after serving jail time. The indictment states that Propes moved to the Huntington area in January 2011 and knowingly failed to register as a sex offender. If convicted, Propes faces up to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000 and supervised release for the rest of his life.
