Man Files Lawsuit In Son's Death

{West Virginia}...Gary Hill, a man whose son died while staying in an alcohol recovery shelter, has filed a lawsuit in Kanawha County Circuit Court seeking punitive damages against the nonprofit Prestera Center. It also names the city of Dunbar. The lawsuit says 24 year old Dustin Hill died in September 2009 after he was admitted to a Prestera alcohol detoxification program. The lawsuit says Hill had no alcohol in his system and that Dunbar police didn’t perform a blood-alcohol test. The suit says Hill had taken multiple prescription drugs, and he wasn’t properly treated for an apparent overdose.
