Charleston Police Continue Shootings/Stabbing Investigations

{West Virginia}...Charleston Police are continuing to investigate a pair of shootings and a stabbing which took place early Saturday morning. The first shooting happened on West Washington Street just after 1:00 A.M., and ten minutes later a second shooting occurred in the Garvin Avenue area. Stephen Thompson, 19, and Latief Dickerson, 27, of Charleston, were CAMC General Hospital. Detectives are also investigating a stabbing which occurred shortly after 4:30 A.M. on Wyoming Street. Stephan McRay, 37, of Charleston, was taken to CAMC General Hospital with numerous stab wounds. McRay was released Sunday afternoon. Police believe the stabbing resulted from a domestic dispute and have arrested McRay's girlfriend, 37 year old Keitra Gibson.
