Jay Rockefeller's Father-In-Law Dies

{West Virginia}...Former Illinois Senator Charles H. Percy, father-in-law to Senator Jay Rockefeller, D. W.Va., died Saturday in Washington at the age of 91. Percy, once widely viewed as a top presidential contender, represented Illinois in the U.S. Senate for nearly 20 years. Percy's daughter, Sharon Rockefeller, announced in March 2009 that he had Alzheimer's disease. Senator Percy served his country in World War II. He was elected to the first of his three Senate terms in 1966.
