{West Virginia}...Logan County Prosecuting Attorney John Bennett says charges against Jesus Canul have been dropped without prejudice, meaning the charges could be refiled at another time. Canul was charged with the August 22nd murder of David Abbott of Chapmanville, which occurred at the Logan Walmart. Canul told police he had just cashed his paycheck and was walking through the Walmart parking lot when David Abbott threatened to cut his throat, demanded cash and took off with his wallet. Canul says Abott was running away when he fatally shot him. Since then, dozens of people have rallied in support of Canul, saying he acted in self defense.
