{West Virginia}...Patriot Coal Group Inc. announced Wednesday that 54 year old Ben Hatfield, former president and CEO of International Coal Group Inc., has been named as executive vice president and CEO of Patriot. Hatfield’s position will be based in Charleston, and the appointment is part of a reorganization of senior management. Hatfield was ICG’s chief executive for six years before Arch Coal bought the company in June. Patriot operates coal mines throughout West Virginia and Kentucky.
