Bond Hearing Set In Huntingon Beating Death

{West Virginia}...Rhamel Hatcher, the third suspect arrested in the May 2010 beating death of 22 year old Jeremy Cook, appeared before Judge Paul Farrell Thursday afternoon and will return next week for a bond hearing. Abraham Saad was appointed from a list of panel attorneys to represent Hatcher. Jeremy Cook, who was from Hurricane, was battling leukemia when he was found severely beaten in a Huntington alleyway and taken to Cabell Huntingon Hospital where he died three days later. Cook was beaten outside a bar on Fourth Avenue in Huntington. Dwain Foster took the Kennedy Plea and is scheduled for sentencing on September 15th. Clyde Cooper was sentenced to 15 years in prison, with credit for the one year of time served.
