Health Department Holding Walk-In Vaccination Clinics

{Charleston, West Virginia}...Starting this coming school year, students in West Virginia who are entering the 7th and 12th grades are required to have two vaccinations before they are allowed to attend public or private schools. One immunization is for tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough, while the other immunization is for meningitis. The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department is holding walk-in vaccination clinics. One was held Monday. The others are set for August 8th,10th, 14th and 20th from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. On August 13th, the department will hold a clinic from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. All of the clinics are being held at the health department office along Lee Street in Charleston.
