Huntington Man Fatally Struck By CSX Train
{West Virginia}...Huntington police say Gary Workman, 59, of Huntington took his own life Thursday morning when he stepped into the path of an oncoming CSX train. Huntington Police Lt. John Williams says evidence obtained from Workman's apartment near the scene and viewing of the train's video show Workman was on the tracks near 3rd Street and 8th Avenue when the train approached just a few minutes before 6:00 A.M. Williams says Workman put himself into the path of the fully loaded train that was traveling about 25 mph, and it took the engineer several blocks to stop the train.
