Letter Left Behind by Shooter in Deadly Shooting Rampage

(Morgantown, WV) - A letter now provides some insight into the mind of a 22 year old man who killed six people, including a pregnant woman, before turning the gun on himself last week. Shayne Riggleman's crime spree spanned three states and changed countless lives. His mother delivered a letter a few days ago to a Morgantown newspaper, that she says her son left before the murders. It includes some strong spiritual references and some quotes directly from the Bible. The 25-paragraph document surfaced just days after Riggleman went on a violent rampage. His mother says Riggleman was bipolar and schizophrenic and wasn't taking his medication, and was upset that he was rejected from the military. The shooting that began in Morgantown was just the beginning of his violent journey that went through West Virginia. Riggleman stopped in Roane County where violence continued until he shot himself along a highway in Lewis County, Kentucky, when deputies pulled him over.
