- {West Virginia}...West Virginia Secretary of State Natalie Tennant is reminding West Virginians they must register to vote by Tuesday, September 13th, if they want to participate in the October election. West Virginia residents can pick up a voter registration application at Tennant’s office in the State Capitol or at several other state agency offices, such as the Division of Motor Vehicles, can download it from the Secretary of State’s website or go to their county clerks' offices. Early voting for the 2011 special gubernatorial general election begins September 21st. Voters can cast their ballots early at their courthouses or courthouse annexes during regular business hours. Early voting will also be available Saturday, September 24th and October 1st. Voting will be available at precincts around the state from 6:30 A.M. to 7:30 P.M. on October 4th.
