Security Stepped-Up At Yeager Airport

• {West Virginia}...Extra patrols from the West Virginia State Police, Charleston Police Department and Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, 130th Airlift Wing and the Transportation Security Administration all were brought to Yeager Airport Friday as enhanced security. A vehicle inspection checkpoint was established along Airport Road. Curbside parking will be prohibited, and extra perimeter patrols will be conducted. Free, 20-minute parking across the street from the airport terminal can be used for loading and unloading passengers.
