Man Enters Kennedy Plea

• {Huntington, West Virginia}...Joseph Ira Patterson, II was in Cabell County Court Tuesday morning, where he entered a Kennedy Plea to first-degree robbery. Patterson is accused of robbing and kidnapping three people, sexually assaulting two of them, in February 2010. Patterson was sentenced to no more than 12 years in prison and was granted time served. The co-defendant in the case, Steven Hopkins, was also in court Tuesday, but after a miscommunication between the prosecution and defense, another hearing was set for April 26th.
