Marshall Player Dismissed

{Huntington, West Virginia}...Marshall University football Head Coach Doc Holliday has dismissed defensive back Phillip Warren from the team following his arrest on charges of striking a police officer. Linebacker Stefone Grace, running back Martin Ward and defensive back Corie Wilson also were arrested and will be disciplined internally. The players were arrested after a fight at a Huntington bar early Sunday morning. According to the criminal complaint, Warren struck a Huntington Police Officer with a closed fist during an altercation outside the bar.
