Man Pleads Guilty To Cocaine Charge

  • {Charleston, West Virginia}...Jonathan Cavender, 26, of Charleston, pleaded guilty Monday to distribution of crack cocaine. Cavender, also known as Tubbs, admitted that he sold 2.52 grams of crack to a confidential informant working with the Charleston Police Department on February 15, 2011, a little more than 1 gram of crack on March 2nd and nearly half a gram on March 10th. Cavender faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a $1 million fine when sentenced July 6th.
