{Charleston, West Virginia}...West Virginia Republican Party Chairman Mike Stuart announced Monday his departure as party chairman will take place May 12th instead of his previously announced end date of May 9th. A meeting of the Republican State Executive Committee has been scheduled for May 12th in Flatwoods. Stuart says he will support whoever is selected to be chairman, and regardless of who is elected, the Republican Party is and will remain strongly unified as it prepares for victory this November.
