McDowell County Delegate Arrested

  • {Welch, West Virginia}...House of Delegates member Clif Moore, a Democrat from McDowell County, was arrested Friday for driving on a revoked license from a January 28th driving under the influence conviction. Welch Police Officer A.D. Perry was patrolling along U.S. 52 when he spotted Moore's car and ran a check on his license plate. Moore, who lived in Columbus for 22 years before moving back to West Virginia, was cited on November 24th for operating a vehicle while impaired in Ohio after being stopped by a Columbus police officer.
