Woman Charged With Embezzlement

{Milton, West Virginia}...Kia Rhae Maxey, 32, of Milton, was arrested Thursday and charged with felony embezzlement. A criminal complaint charges Maxey with stealing $11,275.90 from the Go-Mart gasoline station and convenience store in Milton between December 24, 2011 and February 24, 2012. The complaint alleges Maxey would ring in a sale and void the transaction, while allowing the cash drawer to open so the customer could receive his or her change, and Maxey would pocket the value of the merchandise.
