Amber Alert Cancelled

{Charleston, West Virginia}...An Amber Alert for a Mercer County girl has been cancelled. Porshia Atwell, 8, has been found safe and her father, Tracey Lee Atwell, 38, is in West Virginia State Police custody, facing murder, kidnapping and robbery charges. Atwell is accused of killing Porschia's mother, 33 year old Christina Maria Atwell, then going to his parents’ home in Camp Creek, where he tied them up and then abducted his daughter from the home. A massive statewide manhunt began Thursday afternoon after Atwell allegedly took off in his parents' 1999 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. West Virginia State Police said Friday night that Tracey Atwell called his family earlier in the day and allowed them to speak with his daughter. He was apprehended Saturday.
