Tomblin Campaign Raises More Than A Million Dollars

{Charleston, West Virginia}...Just more than a month before the May 8th primary election, Governor Earl Ray Tomblin's campaign has $900,000 on hand. Tomblin and other candidates were required to file campaign finance reports for the period ending March 30th with the Secretary of State's Office by Friday. Governor Tomblin has reported raising $1,045,000 during the period and spending very little. Tomblin's spending will likely be at a minimum until efforts gear up for the fall campaign when he'll probably face Morgantown Republican Bill Maloney. Tomblin is heavily favored in the Democratic Party primary. Arne Moltis of South Charleston is also on the ballot.
