Teamsters Strike Against Coca-Cola Bottling Co.

• {Charleston, West Virginia}...Thursday morning, 86 members of Teamsters Local 175  held strikes against Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated operations  in Charleston and Logan, while another 67 union workers honored picket lines at facilities in Bluefield, Clarksburg and Parkersburg. After a short picket, Coca-Cola resolved differences with the state Teamsters union. The last time local Coca-Cola workers hit the picket lines was in 2000. That strike lasted five months.
