Judges To Discuss Truancy

{Charleston, West Virginia}...West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals Justice Robin Jean Davis and 19th Circuit Court Judge Alan Moats hosted 14 regional meetings about truancy around the state this fall, and they plan to discuss their findings beginning at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday morning, December 13th, in the House of Delegates chamber at the Capitol. During the regional meetings, the judges discussed ways the courts can work with educators, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources and other officials to keep kids in school. The meetings were conducted in Charleston, Huntington, Wheeling, Morgantown, Parkersburg, Clarksburg, Elkins, Keyser, Martinsburg, Point Pleasant, Summersville, Lewisburg, Logan, and Beckley.
