Former State Lawmaker Dies

{Chapmanville, West Virginia}...Former state lawmaker Earl Hager died Monday in Chapmanville, in Logan County, at the age of 102 years. Hager served in the House of Delegates from 1952 to 1973. He taught in schools throughout Logan County including a one-room schoolhouse at Lilly Branch in 1933. Hager was also a World War II veteran and was a member of American Legion Post 19. Evans Funeral Home in Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation is set for 6-9 P.M. Thursday with the funeral at 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
